A home automation system was required to integrate all installations in order to provide maximum comfort and efficiency. All functionalities had to be managed from a single platform, with the aim of creating a comfortable, efficient environment aligned with smart building standards.

Results

The main goal was to transform the house into a smart home by applying smart building principles at a residential level. To achieve this, several home automation features were implemented and could be managed remotely, providing maximum comfort and control:

• Lighting management: Remote control of lights, with the possibility to adjust brightness according to user needs or environmental conditions.
• Shutter control: Automation and remote management of shutters to improve comfort and energy efficiency.
• Climate control: Centralized control of temperature and ventilation to ensure a comfortable environment at all times, while optimizing energy consumption.
• Video intercom with access control: Integration of a video intercom system with remote control of entries and exits, increasing security and access management.

Smart buildings also find application in the hospitality sector through solutions such as hotel management systems. Other sectors, such as retail, are already incorporating home automation and automation systems to create more efficient environments.
